here's a nice one i came across, i dont know all the details, but apparantly it was converted at some stage to the popular 3.5m30 and 5 speed manual. The current owner was not happy with that so ditched it in favour of the later 3.5i v8 , code m60b35.

here is some of the spec, as taken from another forum

It's now fitted with an M60B40 and 5 speed box from the 530 (looking for a 6 speed one, but in excess of 600 pounds -you do the maths!)
E30 M3 5 stud conversion,
E34 System 2 wheels, wider rears
E24 635csi Front recaros
Custom Headlining, doorcards, pillar trims
Alpina 4 spoke steering wheel
Storm motorworks gear knob
Green Cotton air filter
Battery in the boot (Only in the ix)
twin M/C setup with no servo assist.
0-100 approx 5.7 ish???
